Projek Kasih is a TV variety special presented by Ain Society in collaboration with Mediacorp Suria, which aims to champion a charitable cause for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.
Hosted by popular personalities, Projek Kasih features heart-tugging stories of Ain Society’s cancer beneficiaries. More than 200 Mediacorp artistes, personalities and crew members are involved in the show. Viewers are encouraged to pledge $10, $50 and $100 donations by calling the respective telepoll lines 1900 112 2110, 1900 112 2150 and 1900 112 2100.
As Ain Society does not receive regular funding from any source, we need to continuously raise funds to support our programmes and services. Projek Kasih is one of Ain Society’s efforts in raising funds. The first Projek Kasih campaign in 2013 garnered a total collection of $1.2 million.
This outreach effort has been very effective in increasing awareness about Ain Society and our services. The number of beneficiaries (cancer patients) under our care has increased significantly from 68 in 2012 to 773 in March 2018.
